Strategic all go with Allco

ASX-listed global financial services company Allco Finance Group has completed its acquisition of Strategic Finance, through fellow listed company Allco HIT.

Monday, 26 March 2007
“This is a great time for Strategic Finance. The Allco HIT deal is testament to our strength, stability and leadership in the property financing sector. This strength was also reflected in our (recently announced) increased interim profit,” Strategic Finance chief executive Kerry Finnigan says.

“Completion of this transaction cements Strategic Finance’s position as the premium property financing company in New Zealand. And we can now look forward to the benefits Allco HIT ownership will bring in terms of new markets and opportunities for us.”

Allco Finance has set up a New Zealand office and appointed Graham Jackson as its Country Head. He also has been appointed an executive director of Allco HIT.

He has been an executive director of Strategic Finance since 2000 and will remain on the board in a non-executive capacity.

“At the same time, New Zealanders now have access to Allco HIT’s fully diversified financing operation, which is backed by the strength of the global Allco Finance Group,” Finnigan says.
