Investing in fixed interest 101

This How to Invest section of www.depositrates.co.nz is designed to help readers understand some of the issues around putting money into interest-bearing investments.

Wednesday, 3 May 2006
Interest-bearing investments have been extremely popular with New Zealanders over recent years and there is now a larger number and wide range of options including bank term deposits, finance company debentures, online savings accounts, listed debt securities and cash management funds.

The How to Invest section will look at each of these. It will also have separate articles on how much of your overall investments should be in income assets, how much diversification you need, and what help you can get to make decision.

New articles will be appearing in this section over time. If you would like to be notified when a new piece is posted, please send us an email. Please notify me
